Metaphor boards are used in aiding the design team to specifically understand the physical and abstract design gestures that the product(s) should convey. These factors can be injected into the design’s form and color scheme as well as the user interfaces. The metaphor board is also used in helping the client and marketing group grasp the designers’ intent and direction.
